uOrganized FAQs

1. uOrganized or uTodo does not open ?

uOrganized requires administrator access so you need to right click on the program's shortcut from the desktop and click 'Run as administrator'. In some cases you may need to disable Vista User Access Control (UAC) from Control Panel.

 

2. How can I update uOrganized to the latest versions?

If you are a registered user, when a new major version is available for download, you will be notified by email. However, the auto-update system will check for updates every 5 days and if there are updates available they will be installed automatically.

 

3. What should I do if I lost my registration key?

If the registration key doesn't work or you have lost it, please contact us and provide your registration information.

 

4. If I have already purchased uOrganized once, I have to pay again for upgrading?

No, if you have purchased this product once, you don't have to pay again for future updates.  In some cases you might get a new registration key by email because the old key may not be recognized in the newer versions of the program.  If you don't receive by email the new key and the old one doesn't work for a newer version please contact us.

 

5. I get a 'Database load failed!' message when I start uOrganized or uTodo. What should I do?

This error occurs when the program cannot open the specified database file (most frequently caused by an unsafe system shutdown):

- the specified file doesn't exist or has been (re)moved

- the database is corrupted: click Ok and restore a backup made earlier

 

6. I can not send email using Outlook?

Make sure you test your settings from Options > Email. If you are using Outlook as default email client check the box 'Use Outlook as default email client' and press Ok. Make sure you let Outlook open(or minimized in system tray) if you want to receive email reminders where you are not in front of your computer.

 

7. I've lost my Database Password, what should I do?

If you lost your password the databases in most cases is irrecoverable, but if you still have the password typed on the Password Protection field (from Options) you should contact us for further instructions at support@veetosoft.com
